A simple and healthy snack made with roasted chickpeas coated in cinnamon for a sweet and crunchy treat.
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Toss the chickpeas with olive oil, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Spread them evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until crispy.
- Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired, then let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra crispiness, remove the skins from the chickpeas before roasting.
