Description

A simple and delicious sheet pan bacon-wrapped meatloaf that’s easy to prepare and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8-10 strips bacon


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a sheet pan.
  4. Wrap bacon strips around the meatloaf, tucking the ends underneath.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef for best results.
  • Add a glaze of ketchup and brown sugar if desired.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
