Description
A hearty and easy slow cooker meal featuring kielbasa, cabbage, and potatoes. Perfect for a comforting dinner with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan and brown the kielbasa slices for 2-3 minutes.
- Place chopped cabbage, potatoes, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Add the browned kielbasa on top.
- Pour chicken broth over the ingredients.
- Sprinkle with paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of apple cider vinegar.
- Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- You can use smoked sausage instead of kielbasa.
