Description
A simple and flavorful dish made with tender chicken and potatoes cooked in a slow cooker with parmesan and garlic.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place chicken and potatoes in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix parmesan, garlic, olive oil, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken and potatoes.
- Pour chicken broth into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
- Use fresh herbs if available for a brighter taste.
