Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, mozzarella, and ricotta until melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
